The Victorian Government Carer Card is a discounts and beneﬁts card for unpaid carers in Victoria.

A collaboration of Government, Community and Businesses, it is being established to provide recognition, understanding and support for carers throughout Victoria.

Research Project
Mansfield Autism Statewide Services has been funded by the Department of Human Services for a research project looking at the Travelling Teachers service as a model of service.
This is 30 % completed and will be fully completed in another 12 months.

Case Consultant Practitioner
Mansfield Autism Statewide Services through its appointment by the Department of Human Services to the role of Case Consultancy Practitioner is pleased to be offering three free
workshops in 2010. The workshops are to provide a range of service providers and individuals in the community information and skills for working with people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Workshop One - Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders
In this session we will look at: What is ASD; The impact of ASD on the individual; and general strategies for working with individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Workshop Two - Behaviour
This Workshop looks at behaviour and a range of behaviour management programmes.
